This has been a great month for exciting news :) With school coming to an end (half a week) I have been applying to some great designers, and I am happy to say that I will be joing Jaclyn Bernardo's Creative Team!!

Well in the last few months I have been accepted on 2 different creative teams at ScrapMatters :) I am so excited that I have been scrapping weekly again and I am excited that I will be able to get more scrapping done soon, since school is almost out 5 more weeks!

Here's what I have been creating as of late for Heather at Scrapmatters. All kits are available at www.scrapmatters.com

Heather is doing something pretty cool for project 365. She has been creating a mini kit for each month called "Chronicling Life", and I love that they are getting pulled all together, so in the end it will be one big kit :) Heather has also created some cool defining life quotes, and a calendar and journalling boxes.

Heather created a cute mini called "Eye Doctor", that goes along with "Just the Right Medicine".

With this layout I used "Life's Bazaar" kit and Using " Chronicling Life Together Forever Photo Cluster"

This layout is using a mini kit Heather created with Andilynn Designs called "Visions of Sugarplums" and I used Heathers new "Chronicling Life Alpha Set"

And here's another one I did using "School's Out for Summer" as well as "School's Out for Summer Wordart".

I can't believe it is already July! It soooo doesn't feel like it should be Canada Day today.. Summer really hasn't started here.. it feels much more like fall.. we had to put the heat on in the house again today.. grrr.. That really sucks.. as this is supposed to be SUMMER!! Mother nature isn't being very nice to me this year! hahaha.. I have one more lesson of chemistry to go! I am sooo proud of myself.. I handed 7 lessons in today at the school.. and I am hoping he will mark them fast so I can write my final exam.. which I am dreading! As I am horrible at exams.. All I need to get is 50%! And I think I can at least get that! lol Once I get all my lessons completed I can start to play again! I am really wanting to play with my paper! I keep going into my scraproom and tidying up so its ready for me to come and play! Tonight we are having a BBQ, so the weather better play nice.. As we also bought some fireworks for this special day and we better be able to blow them off!

Well as you all know, that's if you read my ramblings, that just before my trip to Jamaica.. I was accepted onto another CT :) I started being a Haynay Hunny, right away! I wasn't able to get everything done for her before I left, and I wasn't sure when I needed to post everything to promote her stuff.. So here I am now.. In the last few weeks Heather @ Haynay Designs, put out some great stuff! So here I am so show off her awesome stuff! Firstly, Heather created the perfect kit for all the "ouch" stuff that happens in our lives called.. Just the Right Medicine :) Here is what I did using her kit.. I can't believe 2 weeks has passed.. OMG where does the time go.. Well first things first as I know everyone is dying to know how my wedding went.. tehe.. so I will start with that.. We got some great photos taken by the resort photographer.. I love some of them better then other though.. I just love love love this photo! And thats the only one I will share for now.. lol.. I feel like being a tease!

Our wedding day went very well.. I truly really don't have anything to complain about :) Which is great.. It did rain on our wedding day, but in the morning, so it didn't bother me none, LOL.. I still got my good luck and beautiful weather! SCORE! :P The only thing that did bug me a bit was my flowers, when they got to me at 12 and some of them were already dying.. and I thought it was the heat, but my sister in laws flowers were fine, and they had the same flowers in them.. so I dunno.. But I really don't see it as a complaint as I you can't tell that some were dying.. :) The ceremony went well.. we exchanged the vows we wrote together.. and I teared up, but was able to hold in the sobs, lol.. and I almost got Garrett to cry.. he did tear up though and had to pause as he would have started to cry.. and I have the photo to prove it! LMAO.. A funny thing that happened during our ceremony was that our minister's cell phone started to ring.. I wasn't really bothered by it.. I thought it was kinda funny and I cracked some stupid comment like, "Your one busy man", then laughed.. lol.. He was super sorry about it though, so it was no biggy.. just adds something else to remember! And I really don't remember much else as it went by in a blur.. so I can't wait to see our video.. I have it.. and I have surprised myself by not watching it right away, but I know everyone at work will want to watch it, so I will be watching it over and over soon enough.. LOL My nephew, Cole was my ring bearer, and he was super cute! The walk down the aisle was pretty far, and he did it all on his own.. He held his little pillow with the real rings very well, until he dropped it, and the pillow started to blow away! lol.. and he states "Oh NO!" and then was encouraged to run after it, as it was blowing away! LOL.. I am so glad that I didn't see any of this.. as I was still waiting to get out of the golf cart :) I saw it on a video one of my family members recorded on their camera! It was too funny! Well, after 4 days of wearing his wedding band, lost it in the ocean! He had a scare the day before when he lost it in the pool.. He kept it around his neck for the remainder of the current pool side day.. The next day when he was in the ocean snorkeling he lost his ring.. he was so upset and mad at himself.. and I was like oh well.. he was more upset and worried about the ring then I was.. which usually doesn't tend to happen! lol.. I think its only a ring and it can be replaced.. but he was all concerned about it not being blessed.. and I was like he can bless the rings again.. I am sure nany priest or minister will do it for us.. A few days later we found out that we are covered by our travel insurance for $500, so we will only have to pay about a $100 more to get it replaced.. which is a good thing :) I think that made him feel better :) As he knows it will be coming out of his pocket again.. lol I rambled enough about my wedding.. I will be sure to post more photos soon.. I am trying to go through all of them, to see what I have and don't have :P

I have some exciting news! I am now one of Haynay's Hunnies! I really didn't think I was going to hear from her soooo soon! As her CT call isn't ending until the 26th.. And I got myself worried for nothing! I am soooo excited! I love having the chance to play with people's kits! And I always love seeing the difference's of everyone's LO's! It's just sooo neat! I am going to try to pump of a LO of her new and upcoming kit :) I am hoping to be able to get it done tonight! woohoo! I have to steal a photo for it.. but I am sure Eryn won't mind! Well.. I have been a bad blogger.. I haven't blah blah blahed to you guys in awhile! So I thought I would give abit of an update! I have been pretty busy.. Mostly with wedding stuff! and CT stuff! The time is just flying by, which is a good thing, as I want to be in Jamaica and to be finally married! YAY! 5 more sleeps until we leave! Last week my mom and I did a shopping trip! And I got my dress altered.. They had to take it in 4 inches! Holy Crap! All of my hard work has been paying off.. 2o lbs and 11.5 inches :P I am sooo proud of myself! I am hoping to loss some more after the trip and before I become preggo! lol DH and I wrote our vows together this week.. We were going to do them seperate and not tell each other.. but he was worried about them.. as he was worried we weren't going to be on the same page.. so I said we would do them together.. so basically I asked him what he roughly wanted to say.. and I added all the filler to what he wanted :) So it worked out perfect.. All I have to do now is get the vows on a cue card so we will have them for the wedding! I basically know them off by heart.. but I don't trust my mind! LOL.. especially if I start to tear up! Can't wait to say them to one another! Garrett said to me if I start crying he will too! So I secretly hope I do cry, to see him cry! I think it will be very sweet to see! :) I have applied for another CT :) The CT call is for Haynay Designs. I just love her stuff and I love her designs too! I will keep my fingers crossed! The closing date is when I will be in Jamaica.. so hopfully there won't be a short list.. because if there is, I won't be able to participate.. as I am not bringing my laptop with us! Which is a good thing! I guess thats enough rambling LOL

LOL.. I actually started and finished a 2 page paper LO! It only took me the whole month of March to complete it! But its done! And I love how it turned out! I used a pagemap sketch for inspiration.. I have been trying to do more 2 page LO's, as I have so many great photos and I hate having like 5 LO's for the one event! LOL Not the greatest photo of my LO, it was great.. but then I resized my orginal by accident, and I am just to lazy to take a new one! tehe.. I am sure you will get the picture and won't hate me for it! :P

I sooo forgot to share my great and exciting news :) I am now on the A-Digi Team over at http://www.thescrapaddicts.com/ I love my family over there! I am excited about what I can bring to the team.. My plan is to start doing monthly template challenge! I have never made templates before.. but I am up for the challenge! I like the idea of doing a challenge that can be both used for digi and paper gals! As the paper gals can use the template as a sketch! I had my thinking cap on when I thought of this one! LOL And on another note! There is only 28 more days until my wedding! I can't believe it! And its only 25 more days until I am on the plane to beautiful Jamaica! I can't believe how fast the time is going! And I am a loser and I am basically all packed.. Well its not in the suitcase yet, but its all in a neat pile in my scraproom, all ready to be placed in my suitcase! The only thing that really needs to get done now for the wedding is to get the bust of my wedding dress altered and for us to write our vows.. We are planning on doing them together.. which I am fine with.. I think having personalized vows is much nicer then the regular civil ceremony vows! And on a final note.. I have added a guestbook at the bottom of my blog page.. so everyone can add their beautiful LO's that they made using my kits! Can't wait to see what everyone has created! :)

Bridal Shower

I've been naughty and I should have posted this earlier on, but oh well :P Last weekend I had my bridal shower.. and all I have to says is, it was sooo much fun! It was amazing all the beautiful gifts everyone gave! We are very thankful for all the gifts, as we now have all the things we need in our home :) There is only a few other things that we need to get, but we basically got everything on our bridal registry.. I am in the process at the moment of writing up all of my thank you cards! Which is time consuming, but the sooner I get them done the less I will have to worry about :) My nephews were at the shower.. and Cole was on his bestest behaviour and was the bestest little helper ever! He helped me open up every single gift, which was great, as it would have taken me double the time to open if he hadn't! And Cole was ever so excited for me when I got pots and pans and baking sheets! I swear he will one day be a chef :P Here are some pictures of my special day! I can't believe my shower has come and gone.. Just means that our wedding day is just getting closer and closer :)

Life's been busy!

Life has been busy around here.. I finally have finished all my pretty wedding invites :) All together I made 100.. I had to make 200 lil flip flops.. man were those flip flops ever a pain to make! But I got them all done, and I am very happy that I made them all and didn't just got buy them! This is what they look like: We finally got a Wii at home! We traded in all of our old games and stuff and got the Wii.. now I am on the hunt for a Wii Fit :) Our neighbours have one and I love the games that you can play.. and I love the idea that you are working out at the same time :P Sadly we have had it for a week and I haven't played it yet.. I wanted to get all my invites done first.. The day that I decided to allow myself to play I ended up getting a cold, and all I have been doing since is sitting on my laptop and playing with my digi stuff and watching my shows.. The Wii I think is feeling neglected.. maybe tonight :P I still have been good and I have been heading to the gym! Still seeing some results, which is awesome! I still need to call the bridal store where I got my dress to find out if I can get my dress altered in one day (since I bought it in the US).. That's the only thing that really needs to get done for the wedding :P woohoo! 47 more days to go! I want to wait until closer to the wedding to alter my dress as then I won't have to worry about the working out and my dress being too big :P I have been a good blogger these days! Which is great! I am trying to figure out how to label posts so I can have my readers go to the things that they are looking for :P The good stuff versus the ramblings of me :P I guess I will have to do some reading on how to do that.. lol

Well yesterday I brought up the Rubbermaid containers from downstairs, containing all of my skinny jeans and summer stuff that I haven't been able to wear in the last few years.. Well I put on a modelling show for DH and I was sooo excited that basically everything fit! WOOHOO! I am going through all of my stuff and sorting what can be donated.. and I already have a full bag! I enjoy buying clothes and it shows.. I haven't bought anything in that last 3 months as I have been losing weight and didn't really see the point in buying anything new.. and I still don't really want to buy anything new as I have all these clothes that I haven't been able to wear for awhile, so it feels like I have been shopping! LMAO! Currently, I have lost a total of 16 lbs and 10 inches! I lost most of the weight in the first 6 months and most of the inches in the last 5 weeks! I am very proud of myself.. I have about a month more to lose whatever I am going to lose, then I have to be careful as I am going to be getting my wedding dress fitted.. and I don't want it too big once I get it back! lol

All evening I have been playing around with my blog header! And I think I finally came up with something that I like :) woohoo! I designed everything expect for the Alpha and Text.. The Alpha I used is Grazed Chip By DigiFingers, and the Text is Susie's Hand.. And I also made a myself a blinkie! Thanks Eryn for the great tutorial on how to create one! I wouldn't have been able to do it without you!

I am now one of Stacey Towers' newest Creative Team Members! I was chosen along with 2 other ladies to be on her CT team! I am sooo excited! I can't wait to get creative with Stacey's kit! WOOHOO! I also got an e-mail from Confederation College, saying that I was accepted into Practical Nursing for the Fall! I am soo proud of myself.. going back to school will be tough.. but it will be worth it in the end :) Now I just have to finish up my chemistry and I will all set!
